Joan is born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She has ample modeling experience, as a high fashion and commercial model, and is willing to travel for modeling. She participated in the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. Miss Black and Gold pageant, in which she earned the Miss Omicron Mu Lambda title, as well as Best Talent. She has also earned a degree in Theatre and Performance Studies to hone her acting skills. She has worked Prom/Bridal marts and loves working in the formalwear industry. She currently advises a modeling troupe on Kennesaw State University's campus where she aides in training aspiring models, as well as serving as the Model Coordinator for multiple fashion shows.
