Order Processing:

Once you have ordered your dream items, we know you cannot wait to receive them. That is why we work hard to ship orders as quickly as possible.

To ensure you receive your order as soon as possible we use the following schedule to process orders…

  • Orders placed Monday – Friday, before 2 PM CST: Processed next business day
  • Orders placed Monday – Friday, after 2 PM CST: Processed within 2 business days
  • Orders placed Friday after 2 PM or on the weekend: Processed the following Monday

All orders are subjects to availability and credit card verification. When we ship your order you will receive an email containing the tracking information for your shipment, so you can start the countdown to receiving your box full of beautiful merchandise.

Domestic Shipping:

Buying a gorgeous formal dress is an investment. Let us make it a bit easier by giving you FREE shipping on all orders over $100 (excluding sale and clearance items) shipped within the continental U.S. It just might save you enough to splurge on some new shoes!

In order to provide the fastest shipping, we use a variety of carriers with UPS Ground and USPS Priority Mail being the most common. Packages typically arrive within 3-5 days of shipping.

We are pleased to offer Express Shipping on some of our in-stock items. However, selecting Express Shipping does not change the processing schedule.

Our items ship from our facility which is located 25 miles west of Chicago and shipping cost is determined by your distance from this warehouse. You can easily calculate your shipping charges in the “Shopping Cart” area by clicking on the “Estimate Shipping and Tax” link and entering your zip code. The total shipping fees will appear in the “Order Confirmation” section during the ordering process.

The risk of loss and title for all merchandise ordered on this web site is passed to you when the merchandise is delivered to the shipping carrier. Everything Formals is not responsible for any direct, indirect, punitive, or consequential damages that arise from improper shipping practices.

For your convenience we offer several UPS delivery options…

  • UPS Standard Ground (not available in Alaska or Hawaii) : arrives in 3-10 business days (Ground shipping delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed)
  • 3 Day Select (not available in Alaska or Hawaii) : arrives in 3 business days
  • 2nd Day Air: arrives in 2 business days
  • Next Day Air: arrives the next business day

and we offer several USPS delivery options…

  • USPS Priority Mail: arrives within 3 business days
  • USPS Express Mail: arrives within 1-2 business days

In some cases we may be able to offer Saturday delivery. Please contact us by phone or live chat to find out if Saturday delivery is available in your area.

International Shipping:

Everything Formals is thrilled to ship beautiful dresses and formal wear across the globe. International orders are shipped via USPS, UPS or FedEx and usually take 5-7 business days, depending on stock availability.

We are pleased to offer International Express Shipping on some of our in-stock items. However, selecting International Express Shipping does not change the processing schedule. Sometimes you just cannot wait for that perfect ensemble, so we try to accommodate rush orders whenever possible. For rush orders please contact us by live chat or by email at info@everythingformals.com.

Unfortunately, we are not able to ship Allure, Night Moves, Tony Bowls or their subsidiary companies outside of the U.S. However, we offer plenty of other outstanding options and we know you will find something you love. Please contact us to confirm that we can ship a particular dress to your country.

You can easily calculate the cost of shipping your dream dress to you by going to the “Shopping Cart” area, clicking on the “Estimate Shipping and Tax" link and entering your postal code.

We happily accept all major credit cards for international orders; however, we may need to request additional information for payment verification, which may delay the processing schedule by up to 2 business days. You may skip all of that and expedite the processing of your order by submitting an easy and secure PayPal payment.

We want to make sure you receive your order as securely as possible, so all international shipments require a signature and may be subject to taxes, duties and customs fees to be paid upon delivery.

The risk of loss and title for all merchandise ordered on this web site is passed to you when the merchandise is delivered to the shipping carrier. Customs and import duties may be applied to international orders when the shipment reaches its destination. Such charges are the responsibility of the recipient and vary from country to country. Contact your local customs office for details.

Shipping laws are different in each country. It is your responsibility to check with your Customs office to verify whether the country to which you are shipping permits the shipment of your products. Everything Formals is not responsible for any direct, indirect, punitive, or consequential damages that arise from improper international shipping practices.

Want to track your order’s progress across the globe? After placing your order you can track its progress on Everythingformals.com. Simply log in to your account to view your order tracking number. We will also send this tracking number to your email address so that you always know right where your box of happiness is! Please allow one business day for tracking updates to become available once your item has shipped from our warehouse.

In order to offer you the fastest shipping and the best rates, we use a variety of carriers including USPS, UPS and FedEx at our discretion. However, if you have a preference of couriers, just let us know. If you have an account with any of the carriers we utilize, unfortunately, we are unable to use your account to cover shipping costs.

Payment Policies:

We believe paying for a beautiful wardrobe should be the easy part so we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Diners Club, JCB, PayPal, money orders, and bank transfers. If you wish to pay using bank transfer, please contact us and we will e-mail you the account details.

For your protection, all orders are subject to manual credit card verification. This verification process usually takes less than one business day, however international order verification may take 2-3 business days. If we need additional information to complete this process, we will contact you within one business day of placing your order.

Everything Formals charges sales tax for merchandise ordered on this Web site based on the applicable state sales tax rate and the location to which the order is being shipped. We only collect sales tax for items shipped to Illinois.

Returns

From prom night to your wedding day, Everything Formals loves being part of your most important events. We want to help you look and feel your absolute best. That is why we offer a return policy you will not find anywhere else. Most special occasion retailers do not accept returns, but Everything Formals is different. We are available to assist you with either a return for a store credit or an exchange.

Exclusions:

Unfortunately, we are not able to accept any returns from our bridal collections, special or custom orders, undergarments, body shapers, swimsuits or clearance/sale items.

We know your bridal dress is one of the most important garments you will ever purchase. Our bridal collections, along with all custom orders, are manufactured specifically for you. Since we cannot accept returns or exchanges on these items, we recommend that you carefully review the style, size, color and specifications before completing your order.

Qualifications:

At Everything Formals we offer the highest quality dresses at the best prices. In order to maintain that level of excellence we can only accept returns and exchanges of unworn items in pristine condition. All items must be unwashed with the original tags attached. In addition, the original garment bag must be included with the returned item. Any returned item that appears to have been altered, damaged, steamed or worn will not be accepted.

Store Credit/Exchange Eligibility:

  1. Is my item not any of the following: bridal collection, special or custom orders, undergarments, body shapers, swimsuits or clearance/sale items?
  2. Was my item received within the past 3 days?
  3. Is my item not washed, worn, altered, or steamed?
  4. Does my item still have all tags attached?
  5. Do I have all original packaging to return with my item?

If you have answered yes to all 5 questions, you are eligible for a store credit/exchange and you may request an RA#.

Options:

At Everything Formals we love options. That is why we offer dozens of fabulous designers, hundreds of exquisite dresses and two options for returns. Just choose to exchange or return for a store credit and follow the simple instructions below.

Return for Exchange:

Have your eye on a different stunning dress? Contact us by chat, email or phone within three (3) days of receiving your purchase and tell us the designer, style, size and color of the new item you would prefer. We will also need the date you wish to wear the dress so that we can ensure it gets to you on time.

We will provide you with a Return Authorization Number (RA#). Write this number on the outside of the box with your return and ship it back to us, postmarked within three (3) days of receiving your RA#. Please use whichever shipping carrier you prefer; however, make certain that you insure the package and send it “signature required.” Once the item is received and passes inspection, Everything Formals will ship your new item(s) to you.

A 10% restocking fee will be applied to the exchange amount for all returns. In addition, for domestic customers who received free shipping, a $10 shipping fee will be deducted from the total exchange amount. However, you will still be eligible for free standard shipping on any new order over $100 (excluding clearance/sale items). International customers will be responsible for all taxes, duties and customs fees.

Once your exchange is completed, any remaining balance will be converted to store credit. Since our store credit never expires, purchasing your next special occasion dress will be even sweeter!

Return for Store Credit:

Not sure which glamorous Everything Formals dress is your perfect match? Do not worry, just complete your exchange for store credit and it will be there waiting for you when you are ready. We will issue your credit as soon as your return is received and passes inspection.

Within three (3) days of receiving your original order, contact us by chat, phone or email. We will provide you with a Return Authorization Number (RA#). Write this number on the outside of the box with your return and ship it back to us, postmarked within three (3) days of receiving your RA#. Please use whichever shipping carrier you prefer; however, make certain that you insure the package and send it “signature required.”

A 10% restocking fee will be applied to the exchange amount for all returns. In addition, for domestic customers who received free shipping a $10 shipping fee will be deducted from the total exchange amount. Once your return is received and passes inspection, Everything Formals will issue your store credit. We will email you with the total amount of your credit which may be used immediately. You can use your store credit by accessing your account online, or by phone or via chat as long as you provide us with your previous order number. Best of all, your store credit will never expire; however, we believe it will be difficult for you to resist utilizing your store credit on another fabulous Everything Formals item.

Choosing Your Size:

Even with an excellent return policy such as ours, we know you would rather receive a dress that fits like a dream, the first time. Special occasion dresses vary in size according to the designer. The perfect fit for you might not be the same as your typical clothing or dress size. That is why we provide easy-to-read sizing charts for each and every dress collection. Just click the “What’s My Size?” link next to the size option, enter your measurements, and based on your entries we will recommend the best size for you.

Special Notes:

Return Authorization Numbers (RA#) are required for both exchanges and store credit. Any packages received without a RA# will be subject to a 50% restocking fee or subject to refusal.

Before arriving at Everything Formals, all of our items are inspected by their manufacturers. At Everything Formals we make certain that each item is carefully inspected again before it ships out to ensure that your item will arrive damage free! In the unlikely event that you do receive a damaged item, contact us the day that you receive the item and we will happily replace the item for you.

In the event that you are not completely satisfied with your order we will gladly work with you to make it right. However, we are unable to accept liability for any refused packages. Refusing a package from Everything Formals does not cancel your order- you the customer are still responsible for payment. Any refused package(s) from Everything Formals that is returned to our facility will be processed as a return and a store credit will be issued per our “Return for Store Credit” section above. Any additional shipping charges related to the order will also be the customer’s responsibility. If you refuse the delivery of a package and that package is lost or damaged on its way back to us, we will renounce all liability of that package and payment for that package remains the responsibility of the customer. In the event that you do refuse a package from Everything Formals, we recommend that you contact the courier to ensure that the item is returned to us.
